Painting
MHI has opened a GFS Paint Booth. The GFS Spray Booth uses a downdraft system which maximizes transfer efficiency by uniformly distributing air intake and exhaust. Top-quality finishes are ensured by controlling and promptly exhausting overspray. Spray booth construction and recommended airflow velocities are designed to meet appropriate OSHA and NFPA 33 regulations. | ||||

MHI currently has a state of the art ABS blast system that utilizes a recyclable steel abrasive grit. Although we have been able to consistently achieve a 3 to 3.8 mil profile using steel abrasive, the system can also use alternative blast media as well. With the alternative blast options, MHI can accommodate a wide range of media from walnut shells to coal slag and glass bead to aluminum oxide. The alternative media provides the capability to blast stainless steel, aluminum and brass.
