Bobby Armstrong
Bobby has been with the company over three years. He is our only class A driver with all endorsements. He is super dependable, never missing a day of work or even being tardy. During his three plus years of running tankers, heavy equipment, and HAZMAT loads he hasn't lost a load, been involved in an accident or even an incident. When not in the truck, he is driving the bus, forklift and manlift or providing services to the ship. Bobby works an extreme number of hours, never complaining, and is on call 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

Terrance Langston
The completion of the USS KEARSARGE (LHD-3) countermeasure wash down piping was thought to be impossible, due to material due dates. However, Mr. Langston's pipe bending skills coupled with strong decision-making and outstanding initiative completed the task in lieu of the pipe arrival.
Based on this, Terrance D. Langston is recognized for his outstanding contributions and chosen as Employee of the Month for February 2006.

Harley T. Marshall
Harley T. Marshall has shown his professionalism, initiative, and experience throughout his time with MHI. The quality of product he produces is far above what is required and tasks are always completed prior to deadline dates. Harley truly deserves recognition for a job well done and to be named "Employee of the Month".

Raymond G. Vanallen
Raymond G. Vanallen has shown exceptional workmanship on board the USS Gunston Hall where he worked on the ships service diesel generators as well as the lead mechanic for three lube oil purifier overhauls. Ray took tech manuals home with him ensuring the work of the preceding day was done correctly and planning for the next day's tasks. This display of initiative exceeds that of what is normally expected of a 2nd class machinist. Ray's outstanding judgement, initiative, reliability and flexibility makes him worthy and deserving of "Employee of the Month."

“Frazier” M. Khan
Frazier always arrives to work well prepared to handle any task assigned or contingency the day brings. His professionalism, positive attitude and respect towards visitors, co-workers and management reflect a very positive image of Mr. Khan and MHI. Frazier is always willing to help whenever needed, going above and beyond his regular duties. It was strongly recommended that Mr. Khan be "Employee of The Month."

Santito Deguzman
Santito is considered the most reliable technician in the electric shop. His initiative and technical knowledge came into play while working on the Pacific Collector at Colonnna’s. He was task with tracing out and repairing over 2 hundred sound power circuits, which he accomplish with flying colors. On the Ramage, he played a major part in over hauling and rebuilding the ISB Switch board that was damage due to a fire. Santito is well pass due in recognition for his dedication.

Antonio "Tony" Kelley
Antonio (Tony) Kelley continues to maintain a high degree of diligence and integrity in his daily duties, knowing it is imperative that all documentation is maintained in an orderly manner and properly filed. Tony’s dedication was a key factor to the success of our 2005 audit. Antonio’s perfect attendance record is invaluable, many times working overtime and weekends to receive material to accommodate production schedules. Tony is the go between for the uniform service provider and employees utilizing the service so they will not have to leave the job site. Mr. Kelly is the epitome of teamwork and certainly a pleasure to work with and a person MHI is fortunate to have. Tony is definitely deserving of the employee of the Month Award

Richard Henley
I would like to nominate Richard Henley for the employee of the month. I think Mr. Henley well deserves this honor for the following reasons. Most recently he completed the MSD tank on the Hawes, which required long hours but he did not complain about it. He is always doing his best, giving 100%. He is always willing to lend a helping hand to his co-workers. I have worked with Mr. Henley over the years and I have seen him make great progress in his position. I highly recommend Mr. Henley for this great honor.

Glen Boyd
I am recommending Glen Boyd for employee of the month, because of Mr. Boyd’s professional attitude in all phases of welding. Mr. Boyd’s welding product is always of the best quality and he can always be counted on to work extra hours to get a job done on time. Although Mr. Boyd is restricted to shop work because of knee problems his attendance and reliability, diversity of welding certificates and professionalism make him a huge asset to the weld shop and MHI.

Lee Baker
I nominate Lee Baker as associate of the month. Lee did an outstanding job on the Laboon and Bighorn. He was given some very important rigging jobs as lead mechanic and has been in charge of several temporary riggers. Every job was done usually ahead of schedule and without damage. Lee never complains about any job he is given and always motivates his fellow workers. Lee really deserves this award because of his great MHI attitude and performance.
