 "Employee of the Month" for November 2009 | On more than one occasion Cindy has proven she can go that extra mile for MHI and its employees. She exemplifies the following characteristics of an outstanding employee: Well-organized,Self-motivated, Productive, Professional, Trustworthy, Dependable, Diplomatic and Honest.
Cindy has been with MHI since May 2, 2005 and from the very start she has shown great aptitude for the procurement process. Her duties include just about every aspect of this process. Cindy is a material buyer and has become very knowledgeable regarding shipboard material and she knows associated material vendors and works great with all of the shop planners.
Cindy is also the rental coordinator and handles all rentals for the ships and in-house jobs. Cindy has a great working relationship with all of the program managers, project managers, with the rentals, and with the department managers for in-house services.
Another one her duties are to maintain and update the approved vendors list and to distribute it to all of the necessary personnel within the company.
Cindy is a go getter with a great attitude and will take on any task with a smile and without complaints. She is punctual, reliable, and follows all MHI policies and procedures to the letter and treats everyone with courtesy and respect.
Cindy is a true asset to MHI and we are proud to nominate her as Employee of the Month for November 2009.
